Jacob Heywood

Jacob Heywood is a healthcare real estate developer and entrepreneur with expertise in delivering complex medical real estate projects and building patient-centered care businesses. At Heywood Development, he oversees hospital expansions, medical office building, surgical center and other complex construction projects across Utah and Idaho. His work spans site selection, design coordination, financing, and project construction management.

Jake was also a Co-Founder of Corner Clinic Urgent Care and Corner Clinic Dental, where he helped design and grow accessible neighborhood healthcare and dental practices serving families throughout Southern Utah. His dual experience as both operator and developer gives him a deep understanding of what providers need from their facilities, from efficient layouts and financing structures to long-term sustainability.

Before his development and entrepreneurial ventures, Jake worked in International Tax Services at Ernst & Young in London and Silicone Valley, advising multinational companies on cross-border structuring, investment strategy, and financial compliance.

Jake is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Master of Accountancy (Taxation) and a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He approaches every project with precision, collaboration, and a long-term vision for community-anchored healthcare infrastructure.
